Abstract

The highest number of cases of diabetes mellitus in Ogan Ilir District in 2021 is the Puskesmas Indralaya with 1602 cases. The RPPT standard is at least 5%. While the DM RPPT indicator at the Puskesmas Indralaya is 0.12%. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the DM chronic disease management program (Prolanis) using a systems approach (input, process, output). This research uses qualitative methods with triangulation data collection techniques. The total number of informants consisted of nine people,, namely, the head of the community health center, the prolanis program holder, the odctor, two prolanis teams, the management of the BPJS Health Prolanis program, and three patients with DM. The results of the research show that the implementation of diabetes melitus chronic disease management (Prolanis) program activities at the Indralaya Community Health Center has not run optimally due to several variables, namely job description incompatibility, lack of nutritionists, overlapping jobs in human resources, incomplete infrastructure and none-use good guidelines are an obstacle in prolanis program activities. From the results of this research, community health centers should approuch the target of the prolanis program, namely the elderly cluster, adjust human resource needs, and make adjustments based on the guidelines from BPJS Health to follow up on existing deficiencies.
