Abstract
Penelitian ini membahas pengaruh temperatur rendah pada minyak isolasi Diala B dalam menahan stress tegangan. Temperatur rendah yang akan digunakan pada pengujian ini adalah 20°C; 15°C; dan 10°C. Pengujian tegangan tembus dilakukan menggunakan sumber tegangan AC dengan menggunakan elektroda setengah bola berjarak sela 2,5 mm mengikuti standar IEC 60156 dengan laju kenaikan tegangan sebesar 1 kV/s dan pengukuran resistivitas menggunakan tegangan DC sebesar 500V dengan elektroda bidang-bidang berjarak sela 2 mm sesuai dengan standar IEC 60247. Hasil pengukuran resistivitas ditemukan bahwa semakin rendah temperatur yang diterapkan, semakin besar nilai resistivitas minyak tersebut. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pergerakan molekul dalam sampel yang melambat pada suhu yang lebih rendah, sehingga meningkatkan resistansi terhadap aliran arus listrik. Lalu pada pengujian tegangan tembus ditemukan bahwa pada temperatur rendah tembus tegangan lebih mudah terjadi. Penurunan ini terjadi karena terbentuknya uap air pada suhu rendah, yang menciptakan kanal peluahan di antara elektroda dan mempermudah terjadinya tembus listrik. This research discusses the effect of low temperature on Diala B insulating oil in resisting stress. The temperatures that will be used in this test are 20°C; 15°C; and 10°C. Testing the breakdown voltage test was conducted using an AC voltage source with a half-sphere electrodes spaced 2.5 mm apart following the IEC 60156 standard with a voltage rate of voltage increase of 1 kV/s and resistivity measurements using a DC voltage of 500V with electrodes. DC voltage of 500V with plane electrodes spaced at 2 mm intervals in accordance with IEC 60247 standard. The resistivity measurement results found that the lower the temperature applied, the greater the resistivity value of the oil. This is due to molecular movement in the sample which slows down at lower temperatures, thus increasing the resistance to the flow of electric current. Then in the test the breakdown voltage it was found that at low temperatures breakdown voltage is more easier to occur. This decrease occurs due to the formation of water vapor at low temperatures, which creates an temperature, which creates a vaporization channel between the electrodes and makes it easier for electrical breakdown to occur.the occurrence of electrical breakdown.
