Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Local Intstructional Theory pembelajaran Geometri menggunakan konteks Wisata Bukit Sulap Lubuklinggau. Proses Pembelajaran menggunakan pendekatan Pendidikan Matematika Realistik Indonesia (PMRI) untuk mendukung kemampuan literasi matematika siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode design research tipe validation studies yang terdiri dari tiga tahap: preliminary design, design experiment, dan retrospective analysis. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa V SD IT An Nida Lubuklinggau, Indonesia berjumlah 36 siswa. Data dianalisis secara deskriptif melalui observasi kelas, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Penelitian ini mengambil spot bangunan-bangunan pada area wisata bukit sulap seperti, inclinator, bangunan-bangunan pada area bukit sulap dan terskhusus konteks patung putri Silampari yang menghasilkan diantaranya memunculkan ide matematika yakni menghitung luas permukaan bangun ruang sisi datar pada kubus dan balok. Melalui konteks ini siswa dapat memvisualisasikan luas bangun ruang sisi datar kubus dan balok ketika ditutupi oleh benda lain. Konteks inclinator membantu siswa memahami konsep sudut, dan bangunan-bangunan pada area bukit sulap, membantu siswa memahami konsep bangun datar
