Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menginterpretasi gambar pada materi kinematika gerak lurus di Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sriwijaya. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif dan instrumen yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data berbentuk soal essai. Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester 4 Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Sriwijaya tahun ajaran 2021/2022 yang berjumlah 48 orang. Pengambilan data penelitian dimulai pada tanggal 3 - 23 Februari 2022 secara online menggunakan Google Form. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapat bahwa kemampuan seluruh mahasiswa dalam menginterpretasi gambar dengan rata – rata sebesar 70,1% dengan kategori baik. Namun demikian hasil dari tes kemampuan siswa secara keseluruhan pada mahasiswa semester 4 Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika sedikit kurang mampu untuk menganalisis pemahaman menginterpretasi gambar, memahami serta menjelaskan sebuah gambar dari soal yang diberikan.
