Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi cuaca ekstrem diKabupaten Bangka Barat dengan menggunakan software ArcGis versi 10.8. Pemetaan potensi cuaca ekstrem di Kabupaten Bangka Barat ini menggunakan 3 parameter, yaitu peta tutupan lahan, curah hujan, dan topografi/kelerengan. Ketiga parameter tersebut akan diolah dan menghasilkan masing-masing peta, yaitu peta tutupan lahan, peta curah hujan, dan peta topografi/kelerengan. Selanjutnya ketiga peta tersebut akan dioverlaykan sehingga menghasilkan peta potensi cuaca ekstrem. Pada peta potensi cuaca ekstrem yang dihasilkan, menunjukkan bahwa luas wilayah yang berpotensi terjadinya cuaca ekstrem 258.818,6 Ha yang berada pada kelas tinggi dan 24.865,84 Ha dengan kelas sedang, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa Kabupaten Bangka Barat termasuk ke dalam kategori yang berpotensi mengalami cuaca ekstrem yang relative besar.
