Abstract

The increasingly developing and advanced era has become a concern about the fading of existing arts and culture. Palembang city is known as the oldest city in Indonesia. If you look at its history, Palembang is a multi-cultural city due to the large number of immigrants from other regions who brought a diversity of arts and culture. Theatrical performing arts are performances that can express the aesthetic values of social life. Theatrical performing arts are one part of the arts that must be maintained in order to maintain the artistic wealth that exists in Indonesia. One form of manifestation of the need to preserve art is the design of a representative building which is expected to be able to accommodate various functions and artistic activities within it.
