Abstract

Lapangan R merupakan salah satu lapangan penghasil minyak bumi yang berada pada Cekungan Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melakukan karakterisasi reservoir pada wilayah potensi hidrokarbon sebagai dasar penentuan lokasi pengeboran yang optimal. Data yang digunakan meliputi data seismik 3D PSTM, data well log yang terdiri dari 2 data sumur, data marker, dan data checkshoot. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Atribut RMS Amplitudo dan Multiatribut seismik untuk memprediksi porisitas dan densitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya zona reservoir hidrokarbon pada kedalaman 1697 m – 1883 m yang tersusun atas batu pasir dengan nilai persebaran reservoir berupa brightspot dengan rentang 1.20 – 3.20 dengan nilai porositas sebesar 3.69 - 15.60 % dan nilai densitas sebesar 2.41 – 2.54 (g/cc). Berdasarkan hasil RMS Amplitudo dan Multiatribut seismik, diperoleh karakteristik reservoir yang permeabel dengan porositas tinggi, densitas rendah, dan amplitudo tinggi, yang dapat menjadi acuan untuk menentukan lokasi pengeboran optimal dalam eksplorasi.
