Abstract

The Purpose of this research is knowing relationship between self-confidence with sensation seeking for Students Montaineering Club at ‘X’ University. Hypothesis of this research have two relationship between self-confidence with sensation seeking for Students Montaineering Club at ‘X’ University. The Sample of this research there are 135 respondent by using sampling purpose technique from Students Montaineering Club at ‘X’ University. The scale by using sensation seeking and self-confidence scale. The results of this study were analyzed using pearson product moment. The results of this research hypothesis show that there is a significant relationship between self-confidence with sensation seeking on Students Montaineering Club at ‘X’ University with correlation coefficient of 0.442 and p = 0,000 (p <0.05). Finally the hypothesis is accepted.
