Abstract

Learning media is an important aspect in the process of achieving learning success in school. This research uses a Research and Development approach, meaning research is used to create certain products and test the effectiveness of these products. This research aims to produce valid, practical and effective learning media for student learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were grade VII students of SMPN 41 Palembang. The stages in this research adapt the development research model of Hannafin & Peck. The Hannafin & Peck development model has three stages of development, namely needs analysis, design, and development and implementation with evaluation and revision at each stage. Testing of material, language, and media design is carried out to experts to obtain the results of validation of the developed learning media. Data collection was done by observation, interviews, questionnaires and tests. Data analysis techniques use analysis of interview results, validation results, questionnaire results and tests. Research analysis of the development of interactive learning media based on 3 dimensions of digestive system material can be described that: 1) interactive learning media based on 3 dimensions has been tested for validity by 3 experts with 81% results; 2) interactive learning media based on 3 dimensions on digestive system material tested for practicality with a percentage of practicality with results of 81%.; 3) the effectiveness of 3-dimensional-based interactive learning media for the learning process obtained an N-gain of 0.48 in the medium category. The conclusion of this study is a 3-dimensional based interactive learning media on digestive system material developed that has been tested valid, practical and effective.
