Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh velocity of money dan PDB terhadap permintaan uang di Indonesia. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder periode Juni 2001 - Desember 2014, yang diperoleh melalui Bank Indonesia dan Badan Pusat Statistik Indonesia. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda dengan menggunakan model kuadrat terkecil biasa (ordinary least square). Permintaan uang sebagai variabel terikat sedangkan velocity of money dan PDB sebagai variabel bebas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa velocity of money berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan uang di Indonesia dan PDB berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap permintaan uang.
