Abstract
The water volume monitoring system is a tool for detecting the volume of water in a container. In this way, this tool can make it easier for humans to know the conditions in a container and monitor the volume. This research designs a water volume monitoring system with water reservoirs as the object. The design was carried out using Esp32 as a microcontroller, MPX5700AP (absolute) sensor as a pressure detector, a Panther 250l tank as a water storage container and the Blynk IoT (Internet of THings) platform to monitor the condition readings on the reservoir. The absolute type MPX5700AP sensor itself is a pressure detection sensor in the range of 0 to 700 kPa (0 to 100 psi) in an object or container. The container used in this research was a 250l Panther brand tank which has a shape resembling a tube. So in calculating the volume of water, this system is programmed with a formula to find the volume in the tube. In finding the volume of water in the tank, the water level is needed. To find the height, this system utilizes calibration of sensor pressure data results and the actual height of the tank in the height range of 16cm – 80cm. So the water level calibration results are obtained which are then programmed into Esp32 to detect the water level in the reservoir. The results of the water level detection produced in the system show an average error of 3.27%.
