Abstract

PT Lahat Pulau Pinang Bara Jaya is a company operating in the mining sector based in Indonesia, South Sumatra, Lahat Regency, Perangai village. With a Mining Business Permit (IUP) area of 852.7 ha. This company targets production of 224,746.21 MT of coal and 361,784.31 bcm of overburden in 2024. Therefore, it is necessary to plan and design disposal capacity so that the production target in Period III 2024 is achieved. Minescape 5.7 software will be a tool for planning design and disposal capacity. Next, calculate the number of digging, loading and hauling equipment needed. Period III in 2024 with overburden production of 265,094.71 bcm and 62,171.65 tons of coal, with a stripping ratio (SR) of 4.2. In July 91,049.81 bcm of overburden and 20,621.39 tons of coal. In August 93,102.97 bcm of overburden and 21,871.79 tons of coal. In September 80,941.94 bcm of overburden and 21,871.79 tons of coal. In period III, the disposal design is planned to accommodate overburden of 283,265.38 bcm.
