Abstract

The purpose of this research were to: 1) Analyze and caiculate the proportion of the amount of sugar consumption in the society directly adjacent and not directly adjacent with PG. Cinta Manis. 2) Analyze the factors that influence the consumption of sugar in the community around PG. Cinta Manis Ogan Ilir. The research was conducted in the sub District Tanjung Batu namely Seri Bandung villages was directly adjacent with PG. Cinta Manis and Tanjung Tambak Baru villages was not directly adjacent with PG. Cinta Manis. This research used the survey method. Data collected ware primary data and secondary data. Secondary data collection was conducted in November 2013, while the primary data in March 2014. Primary data obtained by surveys and interviews of sample that used, while secondary data obtained fforn the related instance, study literature and other literature. The sampling method used Purposive Sampling. The results of this research showed that the amount of sugar consumption communities directly adjacent and not directly adjacent to the PG. Cinta Manis not sigmficant differentiate. Positive influencea factors to the consumption of sugar in the communities around PG. Cinta Manis were household the influence income level, family size, dominant gender in family and negative influenced faktor was education level.
