Abstract
3D object coloring is an important stage in digital design and animation, but this process often takes a long time and tends to be monotonous. This research aims to develop a Blender add-on called AutoColorize, designed using Python to automate the coloring process. The add-on is equipped with features to generate color palettes and apply colors to selected objects. The test results show that using the add-on can improve time efficiency with an average efficiency ratio of 74% compared to the manual method. In terms of color consistency, this add-on produces colors similar to the original object colors, although there are variations between the color channels (R, G, B), according to the characteristics of the object’s color. This add-on provides a practical and effective solution to speed up the 3D object coloring process while maintaining good color representation.
