Abstract

Proses eksplorasi dan pengeboran minyak bumi menghasilkan limbah lumpur minyak bumi yang masih memiliki kandungan minyak serta berbahaya bagi lingkungan. Untuk itu, pemanfaatan lumpur minyak bumi serta karakterisasinya penting untuk dilakukan. Penelitian ini mempelajari pengaruh suhu dan waktu terhadap ekstraksi pelarut dengan pelarut kloroform dikombinasikan surfaktan Triton X-100 dan Triton X-114. Karakterisasi dilakukan melalui analisis sifat fisik seperti uji kadar air, kadar miyak, total padatan, kemudian uji spesifik CHNS, TKN, FTIR, XRD, serta EDX. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perolehan minyak paling besar untuk variasi suhu adalah 60℃, sedangkan variasi waktunya adalah 40 menit. Karakterisasi lumpur minyak bumi menunjukkan hasil bahwa lumpur minyak bumi mengandung bahan organik, mineral, logam dan garam yang memiliki potensi bahaya terhadap lingkungan.
