Abstract

The agricultural sector highlighted as a priority is the plantation sector, with palm oil as the main plantation crop. Palm oil is a leading commodity in the plantation subsector, playing a crucial role in economic activities. The objectives of this study are: (1) To analyze the factors influencing the selling price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) at the farmer level in Enggal Rejo Village, Air Salek District, Banyuasin Regency, and (2) To provide recommendations for efforts to increase the selling price of FFB at the farmer level in Enggal Rejo Village, Air Salek District, Banyuasin Regency. Data collection was conducted from April 2024 until completion. The research findings show that: The factor with the highest loading factor value of 0.838 influencing the price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) is the minimum price determination factor, with the criterion parameter being farmers' involvement in determining the minimum FFB price. Factors influencing the price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) include minimum price (X1), FFB marketing (X2), FFB selling price policy (X3), and negotiation and bargaining power (X4). The results indicate that these four variables simultaneously have a significant effect on the price of FFB at the farmer level. Based on the analysis using Expert Choice software with the AHP method, recommendations for efforts to increase the selling price of FFB at the farmer level in Enggal Rejo Village, Air Salek District, Banyuasin Regency, involve several critical aspects. The marketing guarantee aspect holds the highest priority weight, with a value of 0.658, under the alternative of improved road infrastructure. Keywords: Fresh Fruit Bunch (FFB), palm oil, price
