Abstract

This study aims to determine the norms of the physical fitness test result measurement category for tennis students using the TKPN application. The fitness components tested include endurance, muscle endurance, strength, flexibility, coordination, agility, and balance. This quantitative descriptive study involved 32 students of SMP N 1 Tanjung Batu who were members of the tennis sport, consisting of 13 males and 19 females. Data were obtained through fitness test instruments, namely V Sit and Reach to measure flexibility, 60-second Sit Up for muscle endurance, 30-second Squat Thrust for coordination, agility, and balance, and Pacer Test for endurance. The results showed that in the V Sit and Reach test, both males and females obtained a good category with a proportion of 0.4. In the 60-second Sit Up test, males obtained a less category (0.4) and females a very less category (0.2). The Squat Thrust Test showed a sufficient category for males (0.6) and females (0.8), while in the Pacer Test, both males and females obtained a less category (1). Overall, the level of physical fitness of tennis students at SMP N 1 Tanjung Batu is in the sufficient category. This study is expected to be an evaluation for improving physical fitness to support student sports achievements.
