Abstract

This Research aim to know the The effect of save place and Storage time of Pollen with Viability of oil Palm Pollen (Elaeis f^uineensis Jacq.). This Research progressed from May 2009 to October 2009 in Laboratory of Seed Preparation PT. Sampoema Agro Tbk, PT. Bina Sawit Makmur, Mesuji Distric Ogan Komering Ilir. The method used by is a method of Device experiment. Which is Factorial Complete Random Device (FCRD), consisted of two kind factors. First factor is three basin keep without vacum drying consisted of the : Tube react the pirex (Ml), Film Ampoule (M2), Vial ( M3) and one basin keep which vacum drying that is glass Ampoule (M4). Second factor is depository consisted of by 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 month. Each treatment combination repeated by the three of times riil, variable perceived by that is variable energy germinate, potency grow maximum and speed grow. To test the influence of between treatment use the Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at level 5%. Result of research indicate that the interaction of between place of keep and depository have an effect on the reality to potency grow maximum and do not have an reality effect of variable energy variable germinate and speed grow. Place to keep do not have an effect on to all variable perceived conversely depository long have an effect on very real to all variable perceived.
