Abstract

The objectives of this research are to analyze the mfluence CPO production and to analyze the efficiency of production factors in CPO processing. Production faktors of CPO which are analyzed on this research are fresh fruit bunch, labor and machine. The case study method is used to this research because PT. PP. London Sumatera Indonesia Tbk is the largest plantation firm. The data of this research are consists of primary data which gained firom interview and direct observation and the secondary data which is gained from the company’s record about production quantity and the using of production factors from January 2006-December 2008. Then the Data was processed to measure the influence and efficiency level by using Computer programming, SPSS ver 11,5. The result shows that both fresh fruit bunch and production machine were positively significant in infhiencing the production of Crude Palm Oil at PT. PP. London Sumatera Indonesia Tbk company, but labor was not. The fresh fruit bunch which is used in PT. PP. London Sumatera Indonesia Tbk has high rendement, so it gave the meanmgfril influence for the firm. The fresh fruit bunch was got from plasm and Central of piantation PT. PP. London Sumatera Indonesia Tbk. The using of production factors for fresh fruit bunch and machine was efficient technically, nevertheless only the fresh fruit bunch reached pricing efficiency. The labors of PT. PP. London Sumatera Indonesia Tbk had not reached the efficiency because the using of them was suboptimal.
