Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out how the variables of total Islamic banking assets, zakat infak alms and exports affect economic growth in Sumatra. For the time series used, namely 2017–2022, data from the Central Statistics Agency, the Financial Services Authority and the National Amil Zakat Agency provided observations for 6 years. Using Eviews 9, a panel data analysis model is used in the analysis process. The conclusion of this study shows that the total assets of Islamic banking, ZIS, and exports have a positive and significant effect on economic growth.
