Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh perilaku phone snubbing (phubbing) dan kecerdasan emosional terhadap interaksi sosial peserta didik SMK Pratiwi Prabumulih. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI dengan jumlah 281 peserta didik diambil menggunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan total sampel sebanyak 74 peserta didik. Angket pada penelitian ini menggunakan skala likert dan teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini bahwa: 1) Perilaku phone snubbing (phubbing) tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap interaksi sosial 2) Kecerdasan emosional memiliki pengaruh terhadap interaksi sosial 3) Perilaku phone snubbing (phubbing) dan kecerdasan emosional secara bersama-sama (simultan) memiliki pengaruh terhadap interaksi sosial. Variabel perilaku phone snubbing (phubbing) dan kecerdasan emosional berpengaruh signifikan terhadap interaksi sosial pada peserta didik SMK Pratiwi Prabumulih dengan nilai sig 0,00 < 0,05 yang artinya Ha3 diterima.
