Abstract
Personal growth initiative merupakan keterlibatan aktif dan disengaja individu dalam keadaan yang menghasilkan peluang untuk pertumbuhan diri pada seluruh domain kehidupan. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran mahasiswa di universitas yang melaksanakan program MBKM. Partisipan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 300 mahasiswa dari universitas yang melaksanakan program MBKM. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Pengukuran dilakukan menggunakan skala baku Personal Growth Initiative Scale-II (PGIS-II) oleh Robitschek yang diterjemahkan ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Skala PGIS-II memiliki 16 aitem dengan koefisien chronbach alpha 0,919. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil uji beda tiga kategori mahasiswa, mahasiswa yang pernah, sedang, dan tidak mengikuti MBKM, menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi variabel personal growth initiative adalah 0,116 (P>0,05). Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan PGI berdasarkan status keikutsertaan MBKM. Hasil kategorisasi responden menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa baik yang pernah, sedang, dan tidak mengikuti MBKM mayoritas berada pada kategori personal growth initiative yang tinggi. Personal growth initiative is an individual's active and conscious involvement in circumstances that create opportunities for personal growth in all areas of life. This study was conducted with the aim of determining the description of students at universities implementing MBKM programs. Participants in this study were 300 students from universities that implement MBKM programs. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Measurements were made using the standard scale Personal Growth Initiative Scale-II (PGIS-II) by Robitschek, which was translated into Indonesian. The PGIS-II scale has 16 items with a chronbach alpha coefficient of 0.919. Descriptive statistical techniques were used to analyze the data. The results of the three-category difference test for students who had participated in MBKM, students who did not participate in MBKM, and students who did not participate in MBKM showed that the significance value of the personal growth initiative variable was 0.116 (P>0.05). These results indicate that there is no difference in PGI based on MBKM participation status. The results of respondent categorization show that students who have participated in MBKM, are participating in MBKM, and have not participated in MBKM are mostly in the high personal growth initiative category.
