Abstract

Penelirian ini menganalisis representasi nilai-nilai kekeluargaan dalam episode pertama serial Nightmares and Daydreams karya Joko Anwar menggunakan pendekaran semiotika Roland Barthes. fokus penelitian ini terletak pada bagaimana simbol, tanda, dan narasi dalam film menggambarkan tiga nilai kekeluargaan utama di Indonesia: menghormati orang tua, loyalitas terhadap keliarga, dan nilai paternalistik. dengan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, data dikumpulkan melalui observasi non partisipan dan analisis dokumentasi terhadao semilan adegan representasikan nilai-nilai kekeluargaan tersebut.
