Abstract

Rendahnya tingkat kebersihan di pondok pesantren menyebabkan banyak santri terkena skabies. Perilaku santri yang tidak mengetahui adanya penyebaran penyakit skabies di lingkungan pesantren mengakibatkan rendahnya kesadaran terhadap penyakit ini. Faktor lain juga dipengaruhi oleh tingkat pengetahuan yang rendah, padatnya hunian kamar yang mengharuskan berbagi tempat tidur, personal hygiene yang buruk dan kurangnya air bersih. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendidikan kesehatan melalui permainan “LUDOSKA” terhadap pengetahuan santriwati Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya tentang skabies. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif preeksperimental dengan rancangan one group pre-post test design. Populasi sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah santriwati kelas VII Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren AlIttifaqiah Indralaya berjumlah 135 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 50 orang responden diambil dengan cara probability sampling menggunakan teknik stratified random sampling yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Analisis bivariat pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik paired samples t-test dengan nilai p value α = 0,05. Hasil uji variabel pengetahuan didapatkan p value = 0,000 (p value < α), artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara pendidikan kesehatan melalui permainan “LUDOSKA” terhadap pengetahuan santriwati Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya tentang skabies. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan kesehatan melalui permainan “LUDOSKA” secara signifikan dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan santriwati Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya tentang skabies. Penggunaan pendidikan kesehatan melalui permainan “LUDOSKA” dapat menjadi salah satu pendidikan kesehatan yang digunakan oleh tenaga unit kesehatan sekolah (UKS) sebagai upaya sosialisasi mengenai penyakit skabies sehingga dapat meningkatkan pengetahuan santriwati dan mencegah penyakit ini terus terjadi dikalangan santri yang tinggal di pondok pesantren Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya. The behavior of students who are not aware of the spread of scabies in the Islamic boarding schools environment results in low awareness of this disease. Other factors are also influenced by low levels of knowledge, crowded rooms that require sharing beds, poor personal hygiene and lack of clean water. This research aims to determine the effect of health education through the game “LUDOSKA” on the knowledge of female students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah AlIttifaqiah Indralaya Islamic Boarding School about scabies. This type of research is quantitative pre-experimental with a one group pre-post test design. The sample population in this study was 135 female students from class VII of Madrasah Tsanawiyah Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya. The sample in this study was 50 respondents taken by probability sampling using a stratified random sampling technique that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Bivariate analysis in this study used the paired samples t-test statistical test with a p value of α = 0.05. The results of the knowledge variable test showed p value = 0.000 (p value < α), meaning that there was a significant influence between health education through the game “LUDOSKA” on the knowledge of female students at the Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya Islamic Boarding School about scabies. The results of the research show that health education through the game “LUDOSKA” can significantly increase the knowledge of female students about scabies. The use of health education through the game “LUDOSKA” can be one of the health education used by school health unit (UKS) staff as an effort to socialize about scabies so that it can increase female students knowledge and prevent this disease from continuing to occur among students living in Islamic boarding school at Pondok Pesantren Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya.
