Abstract

Membangun jaringan MPLS pada routing protocol OSPF telah berjalan dengan baik sesuai kebutuhan yang telah didefinisikan pada tahap perancangan sampai pengujian. Pada penerapan routing protocol OSPF dengan sistem MPLS akan mempercepat proses switching karena fungsi label menggantikan IP pada table routing di router yang dilewati jalur pengiriman. Selain itu memperkecil resiko conflict IP. Dari pengujian perbandingan throughput sistem jaringan MPLS dan tanpa MPLS, dengan menggunakan jaringan MPLS pada user download 250,67 MB hasil throughput yang didapat 22,236 Mbit/sec lebih baik dibandingkan tanpa MPLS pada hasil throughput yang didapat hanya 15,831 Mbit/sec, pada user download 556,56 MB hasil throughput yang didapat menggunakan MPLS 9,831 Mbit/sec lebih baik dibandingkan tanpa MPLS pada hasil throughput yang didapat hanya 8,871 Mbit/sec, dan pada user download 1,30 GB hasil throughput yang didapat menggunakan MPLS 10,944 Mbit/sec lebih baik dibandingkan tanpa MPLS pada hasil throughput yang didapat hanya 4,296 Mbit/sec. Hal ini membuktikan dengan menggunakan jaringan MPLS pada proses pengiriman akan lebih cepat dan stabil dibanding tanpa menggunakan MPLS.
