Abstract

One of the things that determines the success of oil palm Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) productivity is if the FFB produced is in good condition and can be marketed at the appropriate price. The purpose of this study is to analyze the variables that affect FFB of oil palm and how they affect the selling price of FFB, and to provide recommendations for efforts to increase the selling price of FFB. This study uses a survey method with a questionnaire and a simple random sampling technique. A total of 46 oil palm farmers were taken as samples for this study. The results of the study indicate that there are four valid variables that influence the selling price of FFB, namely the minimum price setting variable (X1), FFB marketing (X2), selling price policy (X3), and negotiation and bargaining power (X4), which simultaneously have a significant effect on the selling price of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). Decisions regarding recommendations for efforts to increase the selling price of FFB are based on aspects including marketing guarantees, financial support, and management, as well as production facilities and infrastructure, which are reflected in the choice of the highest priority percentage.
