Abstract
Swabakar batubara adalah terbakarnya batubara dengan sendirinya di area stockpile tambang, akibat reaksi antara batubara dengan oksigen di atmosfir secara eksotermal dan terakumulasi secara terus menerus. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah kadar abu berpengaruh terhadap temperatur swabakar batubara serta melihat prilaku kadar abu dalam batubara terhadap temperatur batubara yang dihasilkan. Adapun tahapan penelitian ini meliputi observasi lapangan, studi literatur, pengolahan data, dan analisis data. Penelitian ini mendapatkan 7 sampel dari lokasi titik swabakar dengan data kadar abu sebagai variabel independ dengan data sebagai berikut kadar abu dari sampel yaitu KAI 1 bernilai 4.32, KAI 2 bernilai 4.36, KAI 3 bernilai 4.58, KAI 4 bernilai 4.50, KAI 5 bernilai 4.87, KAI 6 bernilai 4.69, KAI 7 bernilai 5.51. sendangkan untuk variabel depend yaitu temperatur dengan data yang diperoleh sebagai berikut KAI 1 bernilai 59.34°C, KAI 2 bernilai 57.29°C, KAI 3 bernilai 52.63°C, KAI 4 bernilai 53.01°C, KAI 5 bernilai 45.00°C, KAI 6 bernilai 50.28°C, KAI 7 bernilai 43.75°C. Hasil korelasi dan regresi menggunakan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25 terdapat korelasi negatif dan signifikan dengan nilai R sebesar 0.394 dengan model persamaan regresi linier sederhana Y = 111.462 - 12.761X1 + e. Dari penelitian ini disimpulkan bahwa kadar abu berpengaruh negatif terhadap temperatur swabakar.
