Abstract

Not only from society, but various official institutions also continae to strive for gender equality in various fields, various movements and social changes have been and are still being carried out so that women have the same opportunities as men. In this research, the author aims to analyze the efforts of the Working Group Business 20 (820) during the G20 Indonesian Presidency in expanding business and economic opportunities for women. The theory that the author uses in studying the 820's efforts to expand business opportunities is the theory of Institutionalist Liberalisin, which concerts the role of international organizations in resolving issues or shared interests between member countries. The research method used by the author is qualitative, where data collection uses library methods. The results of this study indicate that the B20 initiative in expanding business and economic opportunities for women has been quite effective. The B20 Presidency of Indonesia has met all four success indicators of Institutional Liberalisan theory: the role of institutions, the provision of information and negotiation space, the enhancement of government capacity to commit, and the strengthening of the solidity of imernational agreements.
