Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Current Ratio (CR), Debt to Equity Ratio (DER), and Working Capital Turnover (WCTO) on Return on Equity (ROE), with Firm Size as a control variable, in consumer non-cyclical companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2019–2023. The study employs a quantitative research approach using secondary data as the data source. The sample in this study consists of 105 companies, which were selected through a purposive sampling method with an unbalanced panel. Panel data regression with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) is used as the analytical technique. The results of this study indicate that simultaneously CR, DER, WCTO, and the control variable affect the ROE. Partially, CR and DER have a negative effect on ROE, while WCTO has no effect on ROE. Additionally, firm size as a control variable has no effect on ROE.
