Abstract

This study aims to analyze the adoption rate of Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) technology in Telang Makmur Village, Muara Talang Sub-district, Banyuasin Regency, and examine the influence of household socio-economic factors on the adoption of this technology. Additionally, this research evaluates the impact of CSA technology usage on farmers' income and productivity. A quantitative approach was employed, utilizing a survey method with farmers as the primary respondents. The collected data were analyzed using a regression model to identify the relationships between socio-economic variables, CSA adoption levels, income, and productivity. The results of the study indicate that socio-economic factors, such as age, education, farming experience, land size, and additional income, significantly influence the adoption rate of CSA technology. Furthermore, the use of CSA technology has been proven to significantly increase farmers' income and productivity. This study recommends enhancing socialization and training related to CSA technology for farmers, as well as providing subsidies and technological assistance to encourage broader adoption. The study also highlights opportunities for further research to explore the long-term impacts of CSA technology adoption on farmers' welfare.
