Abstract

The research location is in the Tanjung Betung II Area and its surroundings which are included in the Bengkulu basin which has active tectonic conditions. This study was conducted to determine the control of geological structures on landscape conditions which also used morphotectonic analysis to determine the level of tectonic activity by conducting a quantitative geomorphological approach in the Air Padangguci Sub-DAS and Air Kinal Sub-DAS. The parameters used are Assymetry Factor (AF), Hypsometric Curve and Hypsometric Integral (HI), Mount Front Sinousity (Smf) and Valler Floor Width to Height Ratio (Vf). The results of this study showed AF values of 63.12 and 45.74, HI values of 0.48 - 0.69, Smf values of 2.295 and Vf values of 0.535. Then the IAT calculation was carried out to determine the level of tectonic activity in the research area. From these results it can be concluded that the research area is at a medium - high tectonic level and also has a fairly high level of erosion. This also affects the morphology formed in the research area which can be seen from its topography and also some evidence found in the research area. The landscape of the research area is classified into folded hills, structural hills and denudational hills. In addition, the research area also has the potential for disasters caused by the movement of soil or rocks such as landslides.
