Abstract
This research aims to design AR-based magic card learning media on the topic of ethnic diversity and local culture, as well as to evaluate the feasibility and practicality of the media. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with a 3D research model. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. Validation was conducted by three experts, consisting of two academic validators and one practitioner validator, and the trial was carried out on fourth-grade students. The validation results show that the first validator gave a percentage of 95% with a very valid category, the second validator gave a percentage of 92% with a very valid category, and the third validator gave a percentage of 97%, which also falls into the very valid category. The results of the student response questionnaire towards this media obtained a percentage of 92%, which is classified as very practical. Based on the results, the AR-based magic card learning media is declared valid and practical for use in teaching the material on ethnic and cultural diversity for the 4th grade at SDN 05 Indralaya.
