Abstract

The purpose of this study were to: (1) Describe of farmer’s perception against the performance level Ladung Betuah farmers group organisation and the level of Self Reliance of the farmers at Sako Village Rambutan Sub-District Of Banyuasin Regency, (2) calculate the income of farming rice farmers group organisation member At Sako Village Rambutan Sub-District Of Banyuasin Regency, (3) Know is there any relationship between of farmer’s perception against farmers group organisation performance with Self Reliance of the farmers At Sako Village Rambutan Sub-District Of Banyuasin Regency, (4) Know is there any relationship between of farmer’s perception against farmers group organisation performance with rice farming income At Sako Village Rambutan Sub-District Of Banyuasin Regency. This study was conducted in At Sako Village Rambutan Sub-District Of Banyuasin Regency South Sumatra Province by the time the study and data collection in the field in March 2016 until April 2016. The method use in research was survey method. simple random sampling technique has been used as a method for taking sample for this research with total farmer sampel were 60 farmer of 150 members of the farmers group that is active in following activities Gapoktan Ladung Betuah. The result showed that of farmer’s perception against the performance level Ladung Betuah farmers group organisation included in the medium criteria the average score of 26,15, while farmer self-reliance Village Sako is included in the medium criteria the average score of 34.66. The research results show the known average income of farmers from the farming of rice that is amounting to Rp 15.920.747 with an average admission Rp 20.440.208 with a production cost of Rp 4.519.461 Based on the results of testing the correlation of rank spearman value significance between of farmer’s perception against farmers group organisation performance with self-reliance of farmers of 0.407 which means that Ho is accepted, this means that there is no relationship between of farmer’s perception against farmers group organisation performance with self-reliance of farmers in the village of Sako. While the correlation coefficient value of 0.109 has a very low correlation. Based on the results of testing the correlation of rank spearman between significance Value of farmer’s perception against farmers group organisation performance with revenues of farmers from farming rice of 0.209 which means that Ho is accepted, this means that there is no relationship between of farmer’s perception against farmers group organisation performance with revenue farming rice in the village of Sako. While the correlation coefficient value of 0.165 has a very low correlation.
