Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui mengetahui pengaruh kemampuan smash setelah di lakukan latihan Medicine Ball Pada Atlet Bulutangkis Putra Usia 12 16 Tahun Budi Jaya Club. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian quasy eksperimen dengan metode one group pretest and posttest design, yang mana nanti di bagi menjadi 3 tahapan, yaitu pretest, pemberian latihan, dan post test. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik total sampling yang berjumlah 30 orang atlet Bulutangkis Putra Usia 12-16 Tahun Budi Jaya Club. Hasil pengolahan data dan anlisis data dengan menggunakan bantuan aplikasi SPSS 26, berdasarkan hasil perhitugan statistik “uji t” maka didapatkan hasil nilai sig 0,002. Kriteria pengujian hipotesis terima H1 jika nilai sig < 0,05 dan di tolak H0 jika nilai sig > 0,05 karena niai sig 0,02 < 0,05, maka dengan begitu hipotesis H0 ditolak dan hipotesis Ha terima. Pernyataan Ha adalah “Ada pengaruh yang signifikan dari Latihan Medicine Ball Terhadap Kemampuan Smash Pada Atlet Bulu Tangkis Putra Usia 12-16 Tahun Budi Jaya Club. Kesimpulan dari penelitian adalah latihan Medicine Ball dapat digunakan sebagai metode latihan untuk meningkatkan smash bulu tangkis.
