Abstract
The aim of this research was to obtaine biological fertilizer which contained Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR) to improve growth and production of vegetable soybean (Edamame). The research was conducted from August to November 2016 ar research station of Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Inderalaya, Ogan Ilir, South Sumatera. This research used randomized block design with seven treatments and three replications. The treatments are P0 (Control), P1 (Bio P2000Z), P2 (Provibio), P3 (Bion Up), P4 (Agrimeth), P5 (Puhatop) and P6 (Bioripah). This research was repeated three replications. The results showed that the application of biologica l fertilizer Bion Up is the best treatment, which was capable of improving plant height that is 43,03 cm, number of branches as many as 4,4 branch, the flowering age at the age of 36,3 days after planting, age harvest at the age of 71 days after planting, number of pods as many as 85%, the number of seeds per plants that is 208 seeds, the number of pods per plot that is 2.127 pods, and reduce the number of empty pods as big is 15%.
