Abstract

This community service is carried out with the intention of assisting in the creation of information and communication technology-based learning media for teachers in the Teacher Consultation for Civic Education subjects at junior high schools in Palembang City. According to the situation that has been analyzed, it is obtained that if the teacher did not know how to make learning media based on communication and information technology teachers reduced teacher motivation in teaching. The method is mentoring by following the village lecture scheme which is carried out with initial activities of providing material, mentoring to evaluating the product made. Data collection is done by testing and observing the products made by the teacher after participating in mentoring activities. The results obtained that the result of the knowledge test through post-test and pre-test lead to increased understanding of participants in the classroom action research material. It can be known, if in the table that shows if the average score at the pretest was 8303.5 and the post-test was 11266.45, there was a difference of 2957.95. Calculated based on the average percentage score, the percentage of service participants' abilities in making ICT-based learning media is 71.5%. With good category.
