Abstract

This research aims to analyze the quality accreditation policy of the Amikom Vocational Training Institute in Palembang, guided by the Minister of Manpower Regulation Number 5 of 2022. This can be overcome by attending training at a vocational training centre (LPK). This research aims to identify issues in the implementation of accreditation, examine alternative policy implementations, and assess their impact on improving the quality of vocational training. The focus of the research includes the problem formulation process, forecasting, recommendations, and policy monitoring based on William Dunn's policy analysis theory. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through in-depth interviews with the relevant subjects. The research results indicate that the main obstacles in LPK accreditation include limited human resources, lack of accessibility to social and political support, and low effectiveness of the implemented policy recommendations. However, the implementation of the standards used is considered quite good. Keywords: Policy Analysis, Quality Policy, Accreditation of the Amikom Vocational Training Institute.
