Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of procedural justice in job insecurity among government employee teachers with work agreements (PPPK). The hypothesis of this study states that procedural justice plays a role in job insecurity. This quantitative study involved 152 PPPK teachers as the main sample and an additional 50 participants for the trial (try out), selected using incidental sampling technique. The instruments used were the job insecurity scale based on the dimensions proposed by Dachsapalli and Parumasur (2007), and the procedural justice scale referring to the dimensions by Cropanzano, Bowen, and Gilliland (2007). Data were analyzed using simple linear regression. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05) and an R Square value of 0.487, indicating that procedural justice significantly contributes to job insecurity, with an effective contribution of 48.7%. Thus, the hypothesis proposed in this study is accepted.
