Abstract

The research objective was to determine role of job boredom toward work-life balance. The hypothesis in this research is the role of job boredom toward work-life balance.The population of the study was 632 oil-mill workers of RU III. The researcher sample was 221 employees and for try out was 50 employees. This study used non-probability sampling technique. Job boredom and work-life balance was measured by the scale which refers to the aspect of job boredom from Vodanovich and Kass (1990), and aspect of work-life balance from Greenhaus, Collins and Shaw (2003). The data was analyze using simple resgression analysis. The result of hypothesis shows that job boredom have a significant role toward work-life balance, with R= 0,285, R square= 0,081, F=19,361 and precentages by 8,1%.Therefore the hypothesis of this research is accepted.
