Abstract
PEMINGITAN MEMBERDAYAKAN PEREMPUAN WONG PALEMBANG Oleh: Nengyanti Palembang women who grew with Palembang tradition had been secluded in their family. This concept has negative impression and extreme border of women activity in public. Palembang women actually border of, from public activity but they had a lot of learning in her house who socialized from generation to generation. They are trained to make traditional food like pempek, traditional weaving like songket, pelangi cloth, and much more. Now, many Palembang women become a leader in economic, not only in public but in domestic as well. In economic crisis, they can afford and support theirs family finance, only with making traditional food and traditional cloth.
