Abstract

The objectives of this study were (1) to determine the feasibility level of oil Farmers in Telang Sari Village, Banyuasin Regency have problems that are often experienced in their farming. Farmers' problems include limited capital, increasingly expensive input prices, limited land area, uncertain climate conditions, and the threat of pests and plant diseases. Changes in government policies, intervention by organizations and institutions, declining environmental carrying capacity and changes in social strata cause vulnerability and sustainability of farmers' livelihoods. This research is: 1. How are the assets or capital of sustainable livelihoods of rice farmers in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency 2. How is the relationship between assets and sustainable livelihoods of rice farmers in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency 3. How is the orientation of sustainable livelihood strategies of rice farmers in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. The purpose of this study is: 1. Analyze the assets or capital of sustainable livelihoods of rice farmers in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. 2. Analyze the relationship between assets and sustainable livelihood strategies of rice farmers in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. 3. Describe the orientation of sustainable livelihood strategies of rice farmers in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency. This research is a survey method. The survey method involves the use of questionnaires that are systematically arranged to collect the necessary data. According to (Islamy, 2019). 1. Livelihood assets in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency are well available. 2. Accessibility of livelihood assets in Telang Sari Village, Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency is in the high category, which means that access to livelihood assets in this village is in the good category. 3. The relationship between livelihood assets and sustainable livelihood strategies shows a moderate relationship but there is no significant relationship.
