Abstract

This study aims to improve learning outcomes in the long jump using the walking the air technique through the use of Kokacola learning media (box, wood, cone, and ball) among tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Jebus. The background of this research is based on the low learning outcomes in the long jump material, particularly in the walking the air style, which is marked by a lack of technical understanding and limited variety of instructional media. This study employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) approach, conducted in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects were 28 students of class X.1 at SMA Negeri 1 Jebus in the 2024/2025 academic year. Data collection techniques included observation and tests covering cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. The results showed that the use of Kokacola media significantly improved students’ learning outcomes. Initially, the classical completeness was only 38%, which increased to 75% in the first cycle and reached 89% in the second cycle. The average student score also increased from 66 to 82. It can be concluded that the use of Kokacola media is effective in enhancing long jump learning outcomes using the walking the air style for tenth-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Jebus. This simple yet engaging media successfully motivates students, clarifies movement techniques, and creates an enjoyable and meaningful learning atmosphere.
