Abstract

Stunting is a growth disorder characterized by a decrease in growth rate and an imbalance in intake. One way to treat stunting is by providing additional food. This study aims to determine the description of PMT provision on increasing height. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study research design. Data collection techniques using in-depth interview methods and observations conducted on 14 informants consisting of 12 mothers of stunted toddlers, 1 Nutrition Officer and 1 posyandu cadre. The results of this study found that most toddlers experienced an increase of 2 cm, 3 cm and 4 cm each as many as 3 toddlers. The highest increase was 4 cm and the lowest was 1.5 cm. There are 4 toddlers who consume 5 types of food every day. The food menu of stunting toddlers is mostly not given vegetables and fruit and only consumes 2 types of food, namely staple foods and animal side dishes. It is expected that mothers of toddlers are more careful and creative in daily feeding so that toddlers can consume 5 types of food consisting of staple foods, animals, vegetables, vegetables and fruit.
