Abstract
This research was conducted in July-August 2015 aimed to obtaining fern plant (Pteridophyta) species in oil palm plantation PT. Sampoerna Agro in the district Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI). This research uses descriptive survey method using explore technique that is exploring in the area of oil palm plantation covering an area of 2 hectares. The results of this study, the researchers found 10 species of ferns, which are classified into 9 genus and 7 family. Species that have been found, namely Drynaria sparsisora (Desv.) Moore., Davallia denticulate (Brum.) Mett., Phymatodes scolopendria (Brum.) Ching., Lygodium flexuosum Linn) Sw., Lygodium longifolium (Willd.) Sw., Gleichenia linearis (Burm.) Carke., Asplenium nidus Linn., Vittaria ensiformis Sw., Nephrolepis bisserata (Sw), andSelaginella variegate (Hort.) Biol. The results of this study have been compiled in the form of student worksheets that are expected to be a source of learning in studying the types of fern for the second semester in grade ten of the basic competencies 3.3. describe the characteristics of division in plant kingdom and its role in the survival of the earth with learning materials morphological traits division of pteridophyta. Contribution given in the form of a learning tool.
