Abstract

Muara Sungai Musi merupakan kawasan perairan di Sumatera Selatan yang mengalami pencemaran logam berat Pb dan Cu akibat meningkatnya aktivitas manusia di sepanjang aliran sungai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi spesies polychaeta, menganalisis konsentrasi logam berat Pb dan Cu dalam polychaeta, serta membandingkannya dengan baku mutu yang ditetapkan. Pengambilan sampel dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7 Agustus 2024 di Muara Sungai Musi yang dibagi menjadi 6 stasiun penelitian. Analisis logam berat menggunakan AAS tipe AA-7000. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa spesies polychaeta yang ditemukan yaitu Alitta succinea, Lumbrineris cingulata, dan Perinereis vancaurica. Konsentrasi logam berat Pb dalam polychaeta berkisar antara 0,0174–0,0719 mg/kg dan Cu berkisar antara 0,0260–1,9968 mg/kg. Konsentrasi logam berat Pb dalam polychaeta masih memenuhi baku mutu yang ditetapkan, yaitu 1,5 mg/kg (FAO dan SNI) dan 0,20 mg/kg (BPOM), dan Cu sebesar 10 mg/kg (FAO).
