Abstract

Era modernisasi telah menimbulkan ketegangan sosial, terutama dengan meningkatnya insiden penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan remaja di Indonesia, yang menyoroti masalah sosial yang kritis. Penyalahgunaan narkoba di kalangan remaja merupakan fenomena sosial yang kian memprihatinkan karena menyasar kelompok usia yang sedang berada pada tahap pencarian jati diri dan rentan terhadap pengaruh lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi terhadap remaja pengguna narkoba, orang tua, tokoh masyarakat, serta aparat setempat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyebab remaja menggunakan narkoba antara lain adalah faktor internal seperti rasa ingin tahu, tekanan emosional, dan kurangnya kontrol diri; serta faktor eksternal seperti lingkungan pergaulan yang buruk, keluarga yang tidak harmonis, dan lemahnya pengawasan sosial. Dampak dari perilaku ini tidak hanya dirasakan oleh individu pengguna, namun juga oleh keluarga dalam bentuk tekanan psikologis dan konflik, serta oleh masyarakat dalam bentuk meningkatnya tindakan kriminal dan merosotnya tatanan sosial. Oleh karena itu, kolaborasi antara keluarga, masyarakat, dan aparat diperlukan untuk mengatasi dan mencegah penyebaran narkoba di kalangan remaja.
