Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of thecombination of liquid organic fertilizer from Kirinyuh (Chromolaena odorata L.) and Chicken Eggshell (Gallus gallus domesticus) on the growth of Cherry Tomato plants (Solanum lycopersicum Var. Cerasiforme). The method used in this study is an experimental method using a completely randomized design (RAL) with 5 treatments and 5 replications. The concentrations of liquid organic fertilizer used in thisstudy are P0 (0%), P1 (20%), P2 (40%), P3 (60%), and P4 (80%). Liquid organic fertilizer was applied at 100 ml every 5 days after transplanting. The parameters observed in this study are plant height, number of leaves, wet weight of stem and roots, and dry weight of stem and roots. The results of the study were analyzed using One Way ANOVA statistical test and followed by Duncan's Multiple Range Test (DMRT). The results of the ANOVA test showed that the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, wet weight of stem and roots, and dry weight of stem and roots were significantly different. Average plant height 21.32 cm, number of leaves 9 blades, root wet weight of 7,92 gr, shoot wet weight of 2,35 gr, root dry weight of 1,23 gr, shoot dry weight of 0,24 gr. Based on the research results, the recommended concentration for plant height growth is P2 (40%), number of leaves P4 (80%), wet weight of shoots P3 (60%), wet weight of roots P4 (80%), and dry weight of shoots and roots P4 (80%). Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the combination of liquid organic fertilizer Kirinyuh and Chicken Eggshells has an effect on the growth of Cherry Tomato plants. The results of this study are contributed in the form of Student Worksheet for Class XII Phase F in the Odd Semester on the material of Growth and Development of Living Things.
