Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan metil asetat dengan kapasitas produksi 125.000 ton/tahun direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2030 di Jalan Amerika, Citangkil, Kota Cilegon, Provinsi Banten dengan luas 7,3 ha. Metil asetat yang diproduksi menggunakan bahan baku dimetil eter dan karbon monoksida menggunakan katalis H-MOR yang dimodifikasi dengan pyridine dalam single fixed bed reactor berdasarkan patent US20220144748A1. Reaksi berlangsung pada temperatur 300oC dengan tekanan 49,3462 atm. Pabrik direncakan berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem struktur organisasi line and staff, dimana pelaksana harian dipimpin oleh direktur dengan jumlah karyawan sebanyak 121 orang. Pabrik metil asetat layak didirikan karena telah memenuhi parameter kelayakan ekonomi: a. Biaya Investasi = US$ 92.338.463,11 b. Total Penjualan = US$ 215.163.229,93 c. Total Production Cost (TPC) = US$ 144.556.135,48 d. Annual Cash Flow = US$ 56.559.497,47 e. Pay Out Time = 1,520 tahun f. Rate of Return on Investment (ROR) = 53,53% g. Discounted Cash Flow = 60,93% h. Break Event Point (BEP) = 23,71% i. Service Life = 11 tahun Kata Kunci: Metil Asetat, Single Fixed Bed Reactor, Karbonilasi
