Abstract

Penyalahgunaan gadget mengacu pada penggunaan perangkat teknologi yang berlebihan, yang dapat mengakibatkan segudang efek buruk, termasuk penurunan produktivitas, pengasingan sosial, dan bahkan masalah kesehatan fisik seperti ketegangan mata atau postur tubuh yang tidak tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas layanan konseling kelompok untuk mengurangi penyalahgunaan gadget pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen dan desain One Group Pre-Test Post-Test. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 8 siswa yang teridentifikasi mengalami penyalahgunaan gadget. Analisis data menggunakan Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan nilai signifikansi 0,011 < 0,05 serta adanya perubahan skor rata-rata pre-test sebesar 115,75 dan post-test sebesar 86,13. Hal ini bermakna bahwa layanan konseling kelompok efektif untuk mengurangi penyalahgunaan gadget pada siswa kelas XI SMA Negeri 10 Palembang.
