Abstract

This study aims to develop Problem Based Learning (PBL) based E-LKPD with integration of nanofiber membrane material in science learning to improve students' critical thinking skills The development model used is the Rowntree model which is validated through the Tressmer evaluation. The research subjects consisted of seventh grade students of SMPN 1 Air Kumbang The instruments used include expert validation, student questionnaires, and pretest and posttest questions. The results of expert validation showed that the E-LKPD developed was in a very valid category with CVI, CVR, S-CVI/Ave, and S-CVI/UA scores of 100%. At the practicality test stage, the one-to-one evaluation showed a level of usefulness of 95.83% and ease of use of 100%, while the small group test obtained a practicality value of 100%. The effectiveness test was conducted on 111 students and resulted in an N-Gain value of 0.47 which is included in the moderate category, indicating an increase in students' critical thinking skills. Thus, the PBL-based E-LKPD developed is proven to be valid, practical, and effective in improving students' critical thinking skills, and can be optimally implemented in science learning at the junior high school level.
